Dunmore Town A.F.C was founded in 1979. At first the club fielded teams in just the Galway & District League. Today,
however, we field most of our teams in the Roscommon & East Galway Schoolboys League and the Roscommon & East Galway
Womens League. We have a senior and u/15 boys team playing in the Galway League, two u/8 boys, two u/10 boys and one u/12
boys in the Roscommon League and one u/12 girls, one u/14 girls, one u/16 girls and a senior womens team in the Roscommon
League.
The teams we have playing in the Roscommon Leagues play during the Summer months. Being a small town, we would not have
the numbers for winter soccer as there would be a clash with GAA and Rugby. We actively encourage our members to play other
sports and endeavour not to overlap with other fixtures or training nights.
